朱朝東，男，博士，研究員。1993年開(kāi)始從事昆蟲(chóng)學(xué)研究，1996年進(jìn)中國(guó)科學(xué)院動(dòng)物研究所攻讀博士學(xué)位。1996年起，在中國(guó)科學(xué)院動(dòng)物研究所學(xué)習(xí)與工作期間，對(duì)中國(guó)農(nóng)林重大害蟲(chóng)及其寄生蜂，進(jìn)行了長(zhǎng)期的分類(lèi)學(xué)、生態(tài)學(xué)和生物學(xué)研究。參與或主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、中國(guó)科學(xué)院、科技部、英國(guó)皇家學(xué)會(huì)、英國(guó)自然環(huán)境研究基金會(huì)等多項(xiàng)項(xiàng)目，發(fā)表論文多篇。[1]
