周永明, 男,1963年5月生于江蘇南京,博士,華中農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)教授,博士生導(dǎo)師。

人物經(jīng)歷

1980年由鎮(zhèn)江市第一中學(xué)考入南京大學(xué)中文系,1984年獲文學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位,1987年獲文藝學(xué)碩士學(xué)位并留校任教。

研究方向

植物基因工程和油菜分子育種,植物生長發(fā)育的分子調(diào)控和育種應(yīng)用, 油菜育種新質(zhì)源和新方法研究等。

主要貢獻(xiàn)

系統(tǒng)闡明了我國油菜主要品質(zhì)性狀的遺傳規(guī)律, 建立了優(yōu)質(zhì)高產(chǎn)育種新方法;

首次將顯性核不育基因應(yīng)用于油菜輪回選擇,將分子標(biāo)記和小孢子培養(yǎng)應(yīng)用于油菜高產(chǎn)抗病的輪回選擇,育成一批高產(chǎn)優(yōu)質(zhì)抗(耐)病新品系;參加育成油菜品種3個(gè);

首次獲得了蕓苔屬種間雜種的小孢子植株,并對油菜離體小孢子胚胎發(fā)生能力遺傳特性進(jìn)行了分析;

較為系統(tǒng)深入地研究了植物細(xì)胞分裂抑制基因的功能,利用細(xì)胞周期基因?qū)τ筒诵℃咦优咛グl(fā)生的影響和生長發(fā)育特性進(jìn)行調(diào)控,獲得了無花瓣轉(zhuǎn)基因油菜等特殊種質(zhì)資源。

在國內(nèi)外專業(yè)期刊發(fā)表研究論文40多篇。申請美國專利一項(xiàng)。

近5年發(fā)表的8篇SCI論文已被SCI源刊引用100多次。申請美國專利一項(xiàng)。

1988年以來,主持了國家科技攻關(guān),國家自然科學(xué)基金,國際科學(xué)基金、國家教委優(yōu)秀年輕教師基金以及其他省部級攻關(guān)課題十多項(xiàng)。

長期從事植物遺傳和油菜生物技術(shù)育種研究和教學(xué)工作,曾在加拿大從事植物分子生物學(xué)和生物技術(shù)研究多年。
